2010 Alliance Tier I/AAA Prospect Camp

Age-Specific Tier I Camp

The Alliance Youth Hockey Association is proud to host our annual Tier I AAA Prospect/ID Camp during the weekend of April 16-18, 2010 at the home of the Alliance Bulldogs - Valley Ranch Dr Pepper Star Center.

Our Prospect Camp is designed for those players who are capable of competing for a spot at the Tier I AAA level for this upcoming 2010-11 season.

The program will feature 4 components:

1. One high-tempo, AGE SPECIFIC On-Ice Practice with the Alliance Tier I Coaches

2. Two officiated Tier I AAA caliber games - with Alliance Coaches on the bench

3. One All Star Game per age group for Selected players only on Sunday

4. An AYHA Tier I AAA Open House - specifically for those interested in playing with one of our Bulldogs Tier I teams next season.

This is your best opportunity to learn what it means to be a Tier I Bulldog & find out more about our program plans. Prove you can compete at the Tier I level, have some competitive fun, and get back in the groove before try-outs.

Note: First On-Ice Session will start at 4:00pm

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS WILL CLOSE April 12th @ 12pm

Age groups will be limited to a specific number of participants per position.

Cost per player: $100 Includes Camp Jersey

Ages:

Midget 18U: 1992, 1993, 1994 & 1995 birth years

Bantam 14U: 1996 & 1997 birth years

Peewee 12U: 1998 & 1999 birth years

Squirt 10U: 2000 & 2001 birth years

U12 Pee Wee AA - Lehtola Wins NTXHL Championship!

Bulldog Pee Wees Sweep OKC

Coach Jouni Lehtola's U12 Pee Wee Elite swept OKC Saturday to win the 2010 NTXHL Pee Wee AA Championship in Valley Ranch.

The Bulldogs opened play Saturday morning with a convincing 8-1 victory. They finished off OKC this evening with a 5-0 shutout victory.

Alliance will now move on to play in the USA Hockey Tier II National Tournament in Reston, VA April 7-11 representing the state of Texas in the 3A bracket.

Bulldog Squirt AA - Tugolukov Wins NTXHL Championship!

Alliance Squirt AA Sweeps San Antonio

Coach Stan Tugolukov's Squirt AA 99's swept the San Antonio Thunder in the finals of the 2010 NTXHL Squirt AA Championship playoffs today at Valley Ranch.

The Bulldogs blanked the Thunder 8-0 Saturday morning then made it a sweep Saturday evening with another shutout 3-0.

Four Bulldog Teams Play For NTXHL Championships This Weekend

Midget Minors, Pee Wees, Squirts, and Mites To Compete

Four Bulldog teams will play for NTXHL Championships this weekend.

The Midget Minor U16 '94 team takes on the Ducanville Dragons in Plano on Saturday, March 13 at 3:15 pm and 7:00 pm. If necessary a third game will take place on Sunday, March 14 in Plano at 9:00 am.

Coach Jouni Lehtola's Pee Wee AA team will play Oklahoma City for the NTXHL Pee Wee AA Championship on Saturday, March 13 at 9:15 am and 5:30 pm in Valley Ranch. A third game, if necessary, will be played on Sunday, March 14 at 10:30 am in Valley Ranch.

The Alliance Squirt AA - Tugolukov will take on the San Antonio Thunder in the championship series for Squirt AA. Games will be played on Saturday, March 13 at 11:00 am and 6:15 pm in Valley Ranch. If necessary a third game will be played on Sunday, March 14 at 8:00 am in Valley Ranch.

Coach Mike Beck's Mite team will play the Dallas Penguins on Saturday, March 13 at 6:45 am and 2:00 pm in Valley Ranch. A third game would be played Sunday, March 14 at 12:30 pm in Valley Ranch.

Lady Bulldogs Win RMD Championship!

U19 Women Go 4-0 In Tournament, Advance to Nationals along with Alliance U14 Girls

The Alliance U19 Girl’s College Prep team closed out a perfect 4-0 weekend Sunday to capture the inaugural Rocky Mountain District Girl’s Tier II Championship. The Lady Bulldogs dominated the tournament through an offensive assault that racked up 16 goals on 134 shots with the defense held the competition to only 4 goals on 61 shots.

This win will send the U19 Girl’s College Prep team to the first-ever US Hockey Tier II Girl’s National Championship in Lansing, MI where they will be joined by the Alliance U14 Girl’s team. The U14 Alliance team finished 2nd in the Midwest Girls U14 League Championship and ended the regular season with a 9-2-1 record in league to get an automatic bye into Nationals.

Great job to both teams and good luck at Nationals!
