LAPANE'S BULLDOGS TAKE 3rd PLACE IN TOURNAMENT
The Bulldogs came out determined to take on the DJHA Penguins Monday in Euless. The DOGS light up the scoreboard early in the first and with untouchable goaltending the Bulldogs shut the Penguins down with a 1-0 lead at the end of the first period.
The second period was filled with penalities AND scores on both sides but the DOGS day defense never quit. The Bulldogs continued to dominate the game scoring two more goals in the second fighting hard to win those important puck battles and ended the second period up 3-2
The Bulldogs continued to hit and charge the net scoring two more goals in the third period. The entire Bulldogs team played as a team and with the leadership of Coach LaPane and Coach Bailey came away with a 5-3 win taking 3rd place in the Tournament.
