The host Alliance Bulldogs 18UAA team came back to avenge an early defeat in preliminary play and beat the Dallas Stars 18UAAA Prep 3-0 in the 18UAA Championship game of the 2009 Alliance Cup. Alliance also had wins over the Texas Aces, Arizona Hockey Union, and the Houston Wild during the tournament. It was the 4th Championship for a Bulldog team in the 5 years of hosting the tournament. The Dallas Stars 16UAAA Prep team beat their own Dallas Stars 14UAAA team 7-2 Sunday afternoon in Grapevine to capture the 16UAA Championship of the 2009 Alliance Cup. The Stars also had wins over the Houston Wild, LA Jr. Kings, and the Stars 14U twice during the tournament. Congratulations Stars!
